BARDINALE 2010
Ruairí O'Brien präsentiert BARDINALE flows
mit der Gast-Performance „Briefe aus Rauch“ von Günter Heinz
Mit BARDINALE flows gründete der in Dresden ansässige irische Architekt und Künstler Ruairí O'Brien im Jahr 2004 einen Raum für Cross-genre art experiments, which has become a core component of the international festival BARDINALE. BARDINALE flows is poetry with the wide-angle lens, a poetic school of perception: the quiet, detailed productions show the variety of poetic forms of expression as well as its uniqueness. The compositions of the invited authors from him, dancers, musicians and media artists improvised space O'Brien scores of light and shadow, color and shape, converted sound, word and movement in disembodied image landscapes.
"an experience all its own light brought the poetry performance Ruairí O'Brien on the big stage, the mirror coatings, light cones and projections of the composition provided a wonderful space. Lying on the floor: a soft array of flashing light bulbs - a city of lights, beacons, landing cross? On long white curtains projections of moving water, light mist from the side and reflected light rays, the moons, illusory contours in the master tasks constantly changing arrangements alleged picture puzzle, like the discovery of motifs in the cloudy sky. What a stunning picture was taken without a mood and sound interweave word associations with the theme "Cities by the sea" on a very very poetic way. A soothing flow ... without doubt an impressive highlight of the whole BARDINALE. " (DNN 10/06/2005)
